"U" To unload weapon from inventory?

Perfectblue:
Just started the game. In the controls menu it states uppercase U will unload for its ammo from the ground or your inventory. U unloads weapons from the group, but when I open my inventory with "I" and select a weapon I want to unload and hit "U" nothing happens.

ih8regin:
use "U" while not standing over a weapon, you'll be surprised :)
