Custom Key Bindings No Longer Working

Perfectblue:

I edited the keybindings file in the DoomRL directory. I changed the hotkey for unloading items from shift+U to b. After a few games I discovered this was problematic because when prompted to apply a mod, the b key for boots would not register. To try and resolve this I went back into the keybindings file and changed the hotkey for unload from b to "v". Now in game it doesn't work, whenever I hit the hotkey it gives me unknown command.

Capital V. The system uses only capital letters, so there is no confusion that for a capital letter you need SHIFT.

Perfectblue:
Strange, it worked just fine on lower case b before.
