[IC] The Lesser of Two Heresies.
HexaDoken:
HexaDoken gives MkLear a rather puzzled look.
"You say 'trouble' too much." - says he after several seconds of silence.
Klear:
"Do I? Strange. I tend to do that from time to time, usually when I'm in deep trouble. Aren't you a at least a little nervous?"
MkLear looks around to see if anybody might hear them. Thinking there might be someone in the corridor behind them, he gets closer to HexaDoken and lowers his voice.
"We are on a secret mission from the fething Inquisition, failing it will have grave consequences. It fact, even just following the mission will probably have grave consequences and I do mean grave. And now you're in possession of some stone which we know nothing of, except that somebody was killed because of it. I don't like it and if you have any self-preservation in you, you shouldn't like it either. Under these circumstances me saying "trouble" too much is the least of your worries, I assure you.
HexaDoken:
"...Which of the facts that you just told me you assume are new to me?" - answers HexaDoken in a rather sarcastic tone.
Klear:
"Well, I just wanted you to know that whatever the stone is, I don't want to have anything to do with it. The inquisition job? Yeah, we're in that together, but this is your thing so don't drag me into... whatever it is."
HexaDoken:
"Sure."
