[IC] The Lesser of Two Heresies.
Klear:
"Hold on," MkLear objects. "Ignoring the fact that if we are to hold the rope here, someone will have to stay behind - and as dangerous as this climb seems, I'd rather not stay here for the rest of my life - why don't we simply use Xilla's grapnel?"
LuckyDee:
"It makes sense to send someone ahead to have a look. If there's trouble, he'll be out sooner if he gets some help."
HexaDoken:
"...Grapnel? What grapne-" - HexaDoken throws a rather puzzled look at Xilla. - "Oh, that one. Umm... well shiznit. I'll stick with Lazerus, unless our dear friend happens to have a powered winch as well. Once I'm down there and it's safe, I think you can just stick the grapnel somewhere and get down on your own..."
"And yes, my friend, yes." - that is certainly adressed towards MkLear. - "I can always thrust on my friends, can I?" - says mercerenary in a rather sarcastic tone.
Red-haired man seems to return to his usual state of not really taking anything seriously, however.
Esther:
"No need for a grapnel. Just tie up one of the ropes as best as we can. When you guys go down we'll hold it so it won't slip. When I go last, my weight won't be a problem." Xilla puts away her sword, takes one of the ropes and does a pretty solid job fastening it. "Let's go" She holds the rope as she gestures to MkLear to help her.
HexaDoken:
"Well it can still slip off or something accidently, but if you wish to do it that way then fine."
HexaDoken grabs the rope and throws one end of it down the hole.
"Well, ready, lads?" - he says readying himself to climb down.
