[U|Ao100|98%|25|YASD] I should have known the fortune won't hold
MaiZure:
One thing I noticed about this run is that you took absolutely zero offensive traits. Aside from your master, this is a purely passive defensive build.
What this means is that you are almost assured to make it to "mid-game" in Ao100 because you can shrug off a lot but your lack of damage leads to ammo issues later. There will be situations where you could be easily overrun because you can't kill fast enough to survive. Also, a pure defensive build may not become powerful enough to enjoy the totally ass-kickery that players enjoy at late-game Ao100.
In short: Early game is easier, late game will be harder.
I do recommend trying a lower difficult Ao100 based around SoB and Fin traits to get an idea of why being able to kill late-game enemies in one volley is a great 'defensive' strategy in itself.
Good run! I may have to try a build like this in Ao100 soon just to see how difficult it really is at UV.

I've already beaten Ao100 on lower difficulties, I guess I just need a little more luck in the early game.

Also, MAD does nothing for survivability, which is a must for Ao100, your target is to survive 100 levels, and the really serious stuff comes at ~30, when you run out of primary ammo and either have to resort to melee, or employ something else like MAc or nanomodded weapons (MSc). My Ao100 was done with an MCe, with its increased range of awareness and ability to radar shoot knowingly I was able to sustain little damage and conserve ammo at the same time. (But, a nano pack was almost crucial, and has been put to good use on a plasma rifle to make a nano-miniaturization ammo. TH2 has to do something with that :))

Not neccesarily, though granted it was on HNTR, my first Ao100 win was with a MBD build, and I had no lava-proofness for the entire run. Partly because of no onyx pack early on/no enviro boots, partly because I focused on other things other than WK2. So Whizkid really is not neccesary, but you DO need to be more careful. Also, aside from Badass, MBD did'nt really help with survivability, but it's more in the draw of the armor, which in my case I did get Malek's Armor and a Powered Red Armor.

MAD blocks Finesse, so no WK for you. That's actually what I like about it. No more thinking about what to do with mods.
