Tried for eagerness platinum, Lava Silver Badge and got too greedy in the end.

I was hoping for the onyx pack in the armory to make lava boots, but no luck with that. My plan B was rocket jumping, but it didn't come to that, since I found the onyx pack on lvl 18. Lucky. With the lava boots the lava pits were unsurprisingly easy.

The mortuary was fun - with plenty of cells and nuclear plasma, I was hoping to get the angelic badge. I managed to clear the right side without much problems and the nuclear BFG helped a lot from then on. A lot of charges and retreats to let my nuclear arsenal recharge, but it seemed that I'll be able to do it. Then I got hurt by a former sergeant. With Cateye. And it was the last enemy on the level... FUUUUUUUUU-

Anyway, I got lava silver but then my greed got me. I was kinda disappointed that the lava element is absolutely useless on AoI, but level 24 had an invulnerability globe, though it was on the other side of the map. I cleared it, got the invulnerability and rocket jumped to the stairs to nuke the mastermind. So far so good.

I've found energy shield in the lava pits, so I thought nothing can touch me. When I came withing INT2 distance from JC, I blasted him with the nuclear BFG - not a good move. Somehow it resulted in me being completely surrounded by hell barons. I was forced to retreat and kill them. Before I could attack JC again, he summoned lost souls. A lot of them. When they began to surround me, I realized the energy shield doesn't cover melee damage. I blasted a few of them with my regular BFG, but I was too tired to run away and kill them, so I died.¨

But hey, at least I got lava silver. That badge was bothering me for a long time.

You almost got Eagerness Platinum, I'm still trying to get Eagerness Silver. Though I am trying to get it at the same time as Lava Silver, and the 2 last runs I died in Lava Pits (Rocket Jumping was too painful) and Vaults (Pro tip: Avoid Vaults. Barons are too powerful there where you can't really hide anywhere).
Still, great run! Too bad you had to die to JC.
