Can I apply two basic assemblies on one weapon? Or one basic and one advanced?

nope, one assembly per weapon

Te be more precise, if you have WK2 when completing the assembly, you can then add a single mod to the result. If you don't have it, you can't mod it anymore.

Sanctus:
Sad, no way to have burst-fire high powered something :(
