This is my best attempt tonight at N! AoPc. My strategy was to use a scout with Int 1 and plot a course between the various powerups, particularly berserk packs, invulnerability orbs and computer maps while searching for the stairs. That way, I was either berserking or invulnerable about 80% of the time, and I was running the rest of the time. When I died, I was heading for an invulnerability orb on level 23, which turned out to be surrounded by archvilles and mancubi, and then a baron crept up behind me as I was retreating and detonated a barrel beside me.
