Sentry Turret Issues

One, your aiming cursor can snap to your turret like an enemy.  Two, it has zero tolerance for friendly fire.  Now combine this with a shotgun and you've got a turret ignoring the horde of aliens to ventilate the guy that accidentally scratched its paint with some buckshot.  It seems a bit unrealistic for a simple mindless turret to turn on its own master, especially if the damage caused was so minor.

I agree. Turrets are rather a taste of things to come, and they will be severly expanded upon (especially since there'll be turrets that will treat you as their primary target). At the moment it fires at anything that tries to harm it.

It's simple and mindless.  Why shouldn't it attack things that were harming it?

Phrased that poorly.  I meant that I couldn't imagine the USCM making the turrets capable of turning on their operator short of hacking shenanigans.

I got another issue, a Lua error. A turret was shooting for some time, and then probably ran out of ammo. And I started getting a Lua error, screenshot attached.
