There is one official Aliens RPG, which IIRC is based on the Phoenix Command rules.

It shouldn't be hard to hack a game with your preferred generic system of choice, however (I would go with Basic Roleplaying - it even has stats for xenomorphs right in the big corebook!)

I'm actually thinking of writing a system for it myself, borrowing the best elements from systems I like and mixing it together.

And what systems do you like? And first of all what's on your mind - square-based like D&D or hex-based like Battletech system?

Actually, more free-flow than that. It will not be miniature based, but you could play it like that. I like Shadowrun, Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Death Watch, World of Darkness, D&D 4th, WH Fantasy RP, Savage Worlds, Mutants and Masterminds etc... :-P
