Shotgunnery, take two. Definitely better, even though I wussed out in the end. Same clean start, same Deimos Lab. Decided to leave the Shamblers be this time.
First time I saw the Containment Area. Since it's paired with the Wall, I should have kinda seen it coming, but running into an immediate dead end was still somewhat of a letdown. First time on the Abyssal Plains, too, which I like better than the City of Skulls. Might be something post-traumatic, though.
It was supposed to be a YAAM run too, and I thought I had been pretty thorough, but when I looked at the char screen at the end of the Vaults -for the first time in this version, nice to see it has been updated to reflect time and kill info - I saw I missed no less than 14 creatures, upon which I decided not to waste much more time. Or effort even, since I could probably have taken the Mastermind head on as well.
Worst point was aiming to having DM before Cyberdemon, then looking at the experience meter after clearing out level 15 and reading "8/98%". Good times, all in all, and nice new insights into 0997.
