Oh dragonslayer why do you taunt me

Yeah, finding DS is pretty much my strongest motivation for playing Ao100...
Edit: Hmm... according to my very inaccurate and probably wrong calculations, you should find DS on average every 6 finished Ao100 games...

I read one of 2Dev's mortems a long time ago, he mentioned damageless N! run up to UC to get Dragonslayer to drop every time. I figured this would be a great way to experiment with the Dragonslayer so I was trying to reproduce this.
Since getting all the way to UC damageless on standard N! is out of my league, I tested this with AoOC instead and I managed to get "damageless 100%" by clearing out a pain elemental cave right before UC. I also took under 50 damage in another attempt on the first floor of AoOC, and took *no* damage on UC (basically just grabbed two invulnerability globes right before and ran straight to the AoD). The former dropped an Azrael's Scythe, the latter dropped the Longinus Spear. No Dragonslayer. It may be restricted to standard games =(

The way I remembered it, he mentioned damageless run to be one of possible triggers for DS spawning in UC. It's likely that there's more to it than that.
In any case, damageless first level of AoOC is way out of my league as well.. =(

Me and my friend speculated about that and he suspects that you need to do some number(about 4 or so) of special levels damageless. Arena and some others. You're not required to play entirely damageless, that's for sure.
