Just as a thought. Any character can pick up DS. But there is at least one stipulation, maybe many.
What do you do in Hell's Arena, and what do you fight for?
That may give you a chance to fight a smaller boss in the grand scheme of things, but do you have to? Who's arena is it, and why do you destroy this small beast?
Perhaps your rewards will allow you to blow away any wall, in anger or not. Only to gain greater destruction from it. Are those on the other side of the wall barricading themselves in, or you out, or simply a last vestige of those strong enough to fight hell? Is the wall against you, or against those you fight as well?
Are you, by fighting tournaments, killing grand champions, destroying ursurpers and raiding the riches of hell with your artifacts and weaponry simply playing a part in the mastermind's plan?
Only a champion that can sacrifice himself for his cause can wield the dragon-slayer. There is no reward but death............

Implication being DS is tied to the Arena/Court/Vault storyline? If so, that would explain why I was unable to lift it in AAo666...
