[0.9.9.7G][WinXP] Game stops

Hello, i registered here just so i can fix this WEIRD Problem i encountered. after a short time (1-3 mins) the game starts hanging: not like LAGGING but my character wont move at all. my mouse disappears while that happens. but all the effects like Water etc. continue while my game is hanging. it happens after i take 4-6 footsteps and is pretty annoying since i have to get to the next Stairway just so i can get out.

I would like to know if others happen to encounter this too or if it is just me. its not Hardware Problems for sure

I see that you are running the graphics version.  That one might have more issues with hardware than you would expect -- could you post details like what your graphics card is?  That might help.

The other thing is to try running it in ASCII/console mode and see if the same problem occurs.  If it doesn't, then it is very likely related to the graphics code and/or hardware.

Keyboard can behave strangely if you switch it to a different language or toggle Caps Lock.

Juice:
Similar thing (possibly) happens to me everytime I alt+tab out and back in the game. Shift+Alt ingame to change languages fixes it for me :-)

I use an Ati Radeon HD5450

I use an German Keyboard just btw. i will try changing Caps Lock, Language etc. does it help if i change my Keyboard Language to English?
