Diablo 3
« on: July 23, 2013, 07:45 »

So I came home drunk a few days ago and in the morning, I found out that I now have Diablo 3 =)

I've jumped straight into hardcore mode and yesterday finally kicked Diablo's ass on normal difficulty solo play, and I only buried one character (after a self-inflicted disconnect in act III).

I've decided to play with other people from now on, and I thought, rather than trying random strangers, I'd ask here to see if anyone is playing.

My opinion of Diablo III has been shaped by this. I believe I won't need to elaborate.

D3 is fun, I spent a lot of time getting my monk to mid-inferno before I got bored. And yeah, I went through all the issues during the initial launch of the game. Still, despite all the rage back then, I think it was money well spent :)

Yeah, I deliberately waited until enough time passes since release. Strangely, I never really liked Diablo II, while I loved the first one. The demo version of D3 convinced me, though I probably wouldn't like the game as much if I didn't play in hardcore mode.

Forget about Diablo III -- Torchlight II preserves most of the fun from the Diablo II games.

Hell, maybe if we donate enough, we can convince KK to abandon his senses and make TLRL or something.
