I've been playing the latest beta, trying to get an UV Angel of Berserk win (painful, yes). I entered the second level with only 6% health and found that I would have to go through a room of acid with no way around and no medipack. Oh, well. I tromped through 3 steps and got the "Argh!!! Acid! You die!..." message, but then I could still act. I pressed 'F' and you can see the "You have no ranged weapon." message I received. If I had a medipack I probably could have healed myself. I finally stepped one more time and then the screen faded to the mortem screen.
