[U|AoMr+AoP|97%|25|YASD] Should've been double Platinum

I needed a couple more Platinums to advance in rank again, so I wanted to see if I could get two at once. At first, I tried dualling AoMr and AoCn together, since both give you Platinum for getting 100% kills at Ultra-Violence. After that failed repeatedly, I decided trying to combine Marksmanship with Purity with a Gun Kata build (just because) and fared much better. :)
Notes on this run:
I saved the game twice, once because there was a storm and I didn't want to lose the game to a power failure, and the second one was to attend my birthday celebration. ;)
Finding a Ballistic Shield early on was a huge help against Revenants. (A Marksman's Achille's heel for all their bullet resistance) All I had to do was close to point-blank range so they used their melee attack and I was protected from 95% of it. (Later, I switched that for the Shielded Armour)
I very nearly got Gatekeeper Diamond. I completely cleared Hellgate without damage, thanks to a lucky phase device, and got the Cyberdemon down to mortally wounded without damage, when I guess I just miscalculated the time and fired one shot too many and got a rocket to the face. Bye bye, Diamond. :(
I experienced ammo shortages in hell, which I supplemented with an energy pistol to help me make use of energy cells. (I completed the assembly in Mount Erebus, just in time, considering all the bullet resistant enemies there!)
I was so very close to winning in the end, but JC proved to be too evasive. He kept teleporting away and I couldn't freakin' find him, and any time I did, he was surrounded by his minions, so I couldn't hit him. Even with Dodgemaster and Gun Kata, I couldn't evade the hail of shots coming from all directions forever and I eventually expended all my med-packs and armour with JC at severely wounded. It would've been a really sweet victory if I had pulled it off. :|

Happy belated birthday!
Unfortunately there are no platinums or diamonds awarded for birthday Doomguys, as far as I know of.
Purity's always an interesting challenge. It's one that terrifies me, but often when I want a Dual-Angel compliment I find myself picking Purity more often than not.
