Ammochain = Two free shots at no extra ammo usage.
Angel of Max Carnage = Said two shots do max damage, which is a free extra 14 damage per salvo.
For this particular run, it was as optimal as it gets.
So, F-modded plasma rifle has 8 shots, +2 from Triggerhappy, and only uses one ammo. Since it's AoMC, each shot does 7 damage. 10 shots at 7 damage, is 70 damage per salvo. Melts most stuff in one salvo.

Just be careful _not_ to reach 12 damage (either from SoB5, P-mods or their combination), as that is when knockback kicks in. And when knockback kicks in, one tends to fire every shot beyond the first into empty space.

yeah, noticed this when I turned one plasma rifle into a High Powered one. I quickly realized then that more shots >>>>>>>>>>> more damage :D

This is where you start to use the chain-fire ability tactically -- the initial volley is always less than the normal volley.
Good for such circumstances where you have high damage per shot, but are running into mild ammo problems.

That's...genius. Thank you! I think I'm going to have a LOT of use for that up ahead, since I'm somewhat into rapids these days.
