I have a busy week ahead of me, so I really shouldn't have started this game.  Right now, I'm exhausted and I'm going to suffer from lack of sleep because I spent too long completing this, but anyway, here it is:  Full win conqueror with 100% kills on Nightmare!  :)

Some of you may recall that I did this once before in a previous version, but this time, there are badges for it!  :)  Also, this time, I did it with a masterless build.

I have to go now, but I'll give details about it when I get a chance in the next couple of days.

Naw, I'm not at 2Dev's level.  He's probably about to recreate the same game, but in less than four minutes using only his fists without taking any damage, so he can get six Angelic badges at once.  :P

This is some serious bussiness! Awesome run, I'm looking forward for some detailed comments :)

Okay!  :)

I chose technician because I'm fond of the ability to instause med packs.  (That has saved my life on many occasions)  The early game consisted of a lot of shooting people into doorways and/or pools of water to dispose of the bodies.  The differences between this time around and my previous attempt at clearing N! were that this time, I had the kill counter to help me know when I had cleared a level, (which I made sure to check before leaving each and every level) and this time, I could get Eagle Eye, so I didn't have to rely so heavily on my shotgun, so whenever I saw someone standing somewhere that I thought would be a really good square for him to die on, I could instaswitch to the chaingun or plasma rifle and reliably take him down.  :)

Here's my rundown on the special levels:

I had a stroke of luck leading up to Hell's Arena; the last guy I shotgunned to death on level 2 was carrying three small med packs!  (He seemed to explode into a pile of healing)  :)  I went in there with 6 of them, and it was a big help, since I didn't get Hellrunner to help me maneuver enemies into corpse-stacking positions, so extra med packs let me do my other strategy of stand on the body and let a Cacodemon gib it.  :)

In Chained Court Plus, I used the rocket launcher to destroy the Baron bodies, and chainsawed the Arena Master, but the central structure was badly damaged in the process, which made it awkward to lure the former humans into doorways.  I ended up shotgunning most of them into the lava instead.  Actually, I used that strategy a lot during this game;  I was tempted to name this thead, "Angel of knocking dudes into lava."  :)  I would run-wait until the guy revived and then shoot him a couple squares closer to the lava before he could react and keep repeating that process until he was taking a hot bath.  :P

When I reached Phobos Lab, I had Tac boots and HR 2, so I was fast enough to outwalk the Nightmare Demons, which made it easy to lead them through an acid bath, knocking them back in with the shotgun when necessary, and they offered much tasty experience.  :)

At Phobos anomaly, a lucky phase device took me past the ambush, but put me right in front of the Bruiser Brothers, and their first shot splashed me, so I wasn't able to get Gatekeeper Platinum or Diamond.  (Oh well...)  And I almost died there due to stupidity because I was standing too close to a wall when I fired a rocket at it to destroy a Nightmare Demon body and brought myself down to 4%!  Yikes!  :o  (That would've been an embarrassing way to die!)  :|

Hell's Armory was mostly uneventful, since I had a hefty stockpile of rockets for disposing of bodies by that point, and the Shambler fell to a sustained plasma barrage.  I was disappointed that there was no nano or onyx mod, especially since I had been having armour troubles, but I ended up deciding to make the most of the Cybernetic Armour I found there and the fact that I was playing as a technician and make myself some nanofibre armour out of it.  I figured that between my tac boots and HR 2, I wouldn't be too badly affected by the snail effect and the 25% melee protection could be useful.  It also served to free up some inventory spaces, since there was no point in carrying any armour after that.

The Wall consisted of lots of corner-shooting followed by blowing up bodies with the rocket launcher.

The City of Skulls was where I got my gold UAC star; up until that point, I don't think I ever got above a 50 killing spree.  (I've never been that good at completely avoiding damage; I'm no 2Dev)  ;)  Lots of shotgunning lost souls, chaingunning pain elementals, and plasma rifling the agony elemental.  Juggler trait was really nice for instaswitching to whatever weapon was most appropriate for the moment.

Spider's Lair felt harder than it should have been.  I've never been fond of that level, mostly because I don't like facing arachnotrons.  The hyperblaster I had just assembled was a big help, but I got worryingly low on med packs there.

I failed to get Cybie's head because I miscounted and botched my attempts to dodge his rockets in between giving him my own rockets.  Needless to say, I took a few rockets to the face.

I was totally prepared to get berserker trait to help deal with Unholy Cathedral, but early on, I found a hatred skull and decided to use that for the berserk powerup instead.  I led most of the demons into a lava bath, but I left six to fuel the berserk and it lasted just long enough to finish off the AoD.  Bam, Longinus Diamond!  :D

After using the secret entrance to the Vaults, I melted all enemies within with the plasma rifle and blew up bodies as appropriate and then slightly regretted my choice to use the Cybernetic armour, since inside, I found my favourite armour, the Necroarmour.  (Oh well...)

In Limbo, I cleared a fair number of corpses at the beginning with a hatred skull and blood skull, and tried to push as many enemies into the lava as I could with my tac shotgun and tac rocket launcher, but it was a pretty tedious, long, drawn-out battle, trying to remove all the corpses.  (Getting the nuclear BFG was a big help, since it made for infinite body disposal ability)  :)  I also spent a fair bit of time camping the corpses of a Nightmare arachnotron and a mancubus to get my supply of energy cells and rockets back up.

Fortunately, envirosuits last long enough on N! to walk all the way across the level, because the only ones I found in the whole game were in Phobos Lab.  (And I used one there)  That enabled me to cross the Lava Pits with one envirosuit to get to the the extra ones there.

Finally, the battle against JC.  I went in there with a regular nuke and nuclear BFG and I considered using the nuke first so I could use the Nuclear BFG in combat against JC, but I decided I would rather have the nuke handy as something I could use on a second's notice in case something went wrong and I needed to take my enemies with me on the way out.  As it was, I charged up to JC and started pounding on him with the Azrael's Scythe, but of course, without brute or berserk, it took a while to get him down to severely wounded, and by then, I was buried under three or four layers of summons, that included Cacodemons, Hell Knights, and Barons.  I knew I was about to take a brutal pounding of plasma and acid damage, so I instaswitched to the VBFG, my first time using it in the game, and it turned out to be super effective.  Two blasts later, there were no enemies in sight!  (Not even JC, since he teleported away, otherwise, I might not have felt safe enough to reload the VBFG)  :)  I found JC close by, surrounded by revenants, and one more blast finished him off.

Really like the masterless build. Always been a fan of juggler, might have to try it with a rapidfire-compatible skillset after your example.
