[E|70%|9]Well atleast it ain't as bad as usual
TFoN:
CociCookie, I assure you that you'd rather waste a few bullets whizzing past a dead Lost Soul here and there than keep that pistol. A SG/RL for a secondary weapon's sure to save your life on a very regular basis, and leaving that pistol behind means one more inventory slot.
Regarding PR>CG: CGs actually tend to be better than PRs - a full 10mm stack's 20 CG shots, while a full cell stack's 6.25 PR shots, plus cells are much rarer. It also seems to me that CGs are much more accurate.
Silencexy:
talking of ammo-preservation when you got over 900 rounds? err.. there's no way you could end up empty
and if you don't want to waste it anyway, just use your shotgun when a lost soul comes near (or a group of 'em), works perfectly

what is that talk about a hollow pillar eh? is that a spoiler I smell here? ;-)
BDR:
I actually lost an AoMr game that was going very well because I had less than 900 rounds on me, and instead of running across human captains who would have helped me refresh my stacks I ran across ammo-eating caves of Arachs. I was killed in the Mortuary when I ran out of bullets and decided that this was one of the few times that it'd be better to skip the medkits and die, as my only alternative would be pistol-whipping. :(
But of course, when you're playing on easy ammo conservation for the chaingun isn't usually going to be a big problem, so dropping the pistol and freeing up a space in inventory is better than using it for the odd times when you might save two or three bullets.
