So, just for fun, I decided to try this out and I assembled my first nanomachic combat pistol by level 77!  :)  At this point, I decided to make a back-up of the saved game just in case I lost the game to a power failure...  and then while I was in the 100s, there was a power failure.  :P

I'm considering restoring the game and trying again, but I don't know if I care enough about it.  :|
