I was trying to fill exotic/unique slots to achieve Armorer Gold medal, so grinded into Archangel of 666.


After some dumb tries, I finally managed to wield Dragonslayer and Berserker Armor!
Because people in this forum keeps the requirements as a secret, I decided not to post a full mortem here.








MAJOR SPOILERS!!

When you wear DS/BA and enter floor 666, then every monster in that floor is instantly killed and some odd message appears.
"You feel something is wrong.. really wrong!"
and Apostle comes out.

(I think you can also meet him at the 100th floor of Angel of 100, or nukes SMM in standard game, provided that you are wearing DS/BA)





It is a kind of super Archvile, and hits hard. Its HP is not very much.
(Cyberdemon x 1.5~1.6, I guess, since DS kills Cyberdemon in 2~3 hits, Apostle got 4 hits and died)

Anyhow, I got Apostle Insignia!







But I still didn't found BFG 10K, Mjolnir and Subtle Knife, so I have to grind again and again... :(









This is my progress so far.







Yes, next aim is to get Armorer gold and Platinum badges. If I get platinum ones, I'll post later!

Ooh, well done!  :D  DS is the only thing stopping me from getting Armorer Gold and Armorer Diamond.  (I've found three of everything else)  I've given up on figuring out how to wield it, but kudos to you for your achievement!  It must feel good.  :)

And yeah, grinding ArchAo666 is the best way to collect uniques; I recommend doing a Blademaster speedrun and just doing a stairdive on every level that doesn't have "something valuable."
