"Strongman Platinum" : Complete standard game on Hurt Me Plenty with only fists
"Strongman Diamond" : Strongman Platinum + 100% kills
The major difference between Angel of Berserk is that you can use weapon other than fists.
That is, you can give 1~2 shotgun shots to those nasty demons (which are absolute nightmare on early melee run)
or can do cornering shots against barons using your shotgun and make a finishing blow with your fists.
(of course just after cut down baron's health enough you have to swap weapon to make your weapon slot "empty" to do so)
A BIG DIFFERENCE.
Moreover, you can open the crates by shotguns to get useful gears in early stages.
(this helped me in many occasions)
However,
1. killing enemies by punch when you are wielding other ranged weapon DOES NOT GIVE fist-kill credit (I guess)
and
2. indirect enemy death during wielding other weapon (eg. luring demons to acid/lava, death of zombies by barrel explosion from the other shotgun guy)
DOES NOT GIVE fist-kill credit,
so you have to maintain your weapon slot as "EMPTY" in most of time as you can.
Prepare shotgun(combat shotgun) or pistol on your sub-weapon slots, and make use of smart weapon-swapping.
The hardest part is definitely the Phobos part. You must have large amount of luck to reach Brute 3 + Berserker 1.
If you are not lucky enough to face plenty of berserk packs/green, blue armors/large health globes, you cannot survive there.
In this try, most of doomguys died before reaching level 5.
"RUNNING" status is extremely useful as it cut down enemies' melee accuracy.
Basic strategy is when you found imps, get "running" into them and kill them, and take some small health globes/medpacks to recover your status.
You'd better enter Chained Court since you can get 5 berserk effects (including chainsaw - if you are not so expert to clear Hell's arena);
Note that chainsaw berserk effects is shorter than the original one so take it at last moment.
I recommend Bru->Bru->Bru->Berserk rather than Bru->Bru->Berserk->Bru.
After having vampyre, the good choice for next traits would be definitely Tough as Nails.
In the normal Deimos stages, the major difficulties are barons; make use of cornering shots by shotguns to cut down their health enough.
Making nanofiber red armor is generally considered as a stupid idea in normal games,
but it helps a lot here because armor consuming rate is so lot in this run. Of course you must have 1~2 TaN traits to use them.
Grappling plasteel boots (which gives -90% knockback) is a must-have item in late stages.
If plasteel boots does not appear, then make them with protective boots.
I were bit lucky on the Hell stages - 4 inv globes appeared there, so episode 3 stages were fairly easy.
If you have enough large medpacks, killing Cybie and SMM would not be a problem.
