This run was full of screw-ups and Fuck-Its, thanks in part to my speed run mentality in a game that shouldn't be speed ran unintentionally. had another chance at victory then I decided to see what it would be like to go after AoD with ballistic armor, (couldn't get good speed regardless of what I had on me) the answer was you die.

Phobos: Accidentally skipped Hell's Arena carried rockets with me for half the run without finding a launcher. Med-packs were scarce until the level before phobos lab, Anomaly wasn't that bad, took some hits headed for the door after ambush but even with the bruisers not cooperating  I managed to get through it with a full stack of intact large medpacks.

Deimos: This is where things got interesting. Deimos lab netted me a firestorm pack and a sniper pack, decided to make a plasmatic super shotgun, point blank this thing would kill barons in one shot on AoMC, sadly though I didn't make a lot of use of it. Somewhere along the line I accidentally B modded a nanofiber armor instead of P, sad day. The worst part was the fact I accidentally skipped The Wall after doing the same with arena, no backpack, no staff, and me going "did I just skip the wall? really? Fuck" at level 14 I found a thermie and the stairs right there next to a globe, decided Fuck it and ran down to Babel keeping the globe active long enough to nuke Cybie.

Hell: Unremarkable, getting a tracking PDA is insta-win I screwed up so much in the previous parts of the run that I just strapped every mod I could find onto armor and my plasma rifle, never got any mod in the right order to get what I wanted anyway. Had an F mod on the plasma from Deimos lab, too bad too cause no more nukes and not enough suits to do lava pits. To top that off I had an Invulnerability Globe next to the stairs at 23, just sat there melting the face off mastermind with my Plasma rifle. but I wanted to end the run with the plasmatic super-shotgun. I haven't had any chance to fight mastermind without the benifit of a globe right there, so its hard to gauge how the fight goes, not a lot of opportunity for testing. I'd be a lot better at this game if I paid attention all the time, but I dont. Either way, every complete run is an adventure and always worth posting about. Its why I love this game as much as I do.

Bulk-modded nanofibre armour?  That's funny.  :)  That's up there with the Sniper-modded Chainsaw!  :D  (though I'm sure it wasn't as funny at the time)

Also, interesting build; you get much benefit from getting Badass that early?

yep that was essentially the reaction, I look at my blue armor in the inventory but I dont put it on and I apply the bulk mod. definitely one of those wait...god damnit reactions.

Getting badass early is a crap shoot, you rely on the preseance of healthglobes in early maps. I tend to grab it early because I might forget later, but yes early on if medpacks are scarce badass can save your life.

Plasmatic assembly to SSG is not that useful on AoMC,
as damage from all attacks before protection applied is high enough compared to effect of armor protection.

It will prevent cornering shots by crushing walls - so you'll get more drawbacks than benefits by making plasmatic assembly.

Plasmatic assembly to SSG is not that useful on AoMC,
as damage from all attacks before protection applied is high enough compared to effect of armor protection.

It will prevent cornering shots by crushing walls - so you'll get more drawbacks than benefits by making plasmatic assembly.

This is true, the slightly added damage did kill barons in one shot though, was it worth it? no, if only I had a nanopack for my plasma rifle, that thing was destroying everything.
