Might be making my first steps into game design
« on: March 05, 2007, 14:40 »

Just got done with the phone interview with Westwood University for a bachelor's degree in Game Programming and Design. Just need to talk the info over with my mom for the application fee and hopefully I'll be applied by tomorrow evening and starting my classes near the end of march. So if everything goes well I'll be graduated and working in the gaming industry in three years. Wish me luck everyone. :D

Good luck.  If you'd like to start something now, you can take a look at Garage Games.

Game Developement is a ungoing journey, and you'll discover many things within your travels.  I wish I have more to say, but you've picked a wise career path, and wish the best of luck.

Thanks everyone.

Nentator, that's one of the things I'm looking forward to. But that's towards the end of the degree that I get to make my own game. But I do have some ideas, and looking forward to getting them done in game form. As for releasing it to the public, I'll probably only release it here and the other board I hang out at as long as it doesn't get released elsewhere (hey, I need something for my portfolio, and if it's all over the net what company is gonna believe me?). We'll see where things go. :)
