Yeah, at the very least, I'd recommend going into Chained Court.  All those berserk packs are beneficial to any game, no matter your playing style.

Well pre-storm bolter I was using 2 T-modded pistols. I was having a really hard time dealing with some of the bigger/more armored enemies and so generally avoided those special levels (couldn't get through the Wall, armory didn't show up, was not about to do the arena with no shotgun on UV, Mt. Erebus would've probably killed me, Cathedral for obvious reasons), especially cause for the 100% kill rate I would have had to full clear them
