Hey guys. Just came back to the game after a while off. Compiling some spreadsheets of data and came across something confusing.

The Tower Shield and Plate Armor are both listed in the wiki as being an assembly based on Red Armor with PO mods added:

They also show to use the same icon.
Did the Tower Shield supplant the Plate Armor in a later version of the game?

Oooh where did you get that information? There is no link to the Plate Armor on the assemblies page...

I'm not sure about that one, but I know the Tower Shield is a fact. I'm betting your assumption is right.

Hey LD,
I have a spreadsheet with all collected stats on weapons, monsters, armor, etc. (which I'm in the process of updating and am about to publish here for everyone).

I was watching some old "Let's Play..." videos and saw a guy assemble the Plate Armor. I looked on my sheet to see its stats, but it wasn't on there, so I searched for it directly on the wiki. I went to add it to my sheet, but noticed it matched an entry I already had (Tower Shield) exactly. Since the video was old, and since the Plate Armor page isn't linked on the Assemblies page, I'm assuming it's just an old item that was phased out.

My old 9.9.5 folder shows the Plate Armor as an assembly and 9.9.6 has the Tower Shield.  Here's a line from 9.9.6's version.txt:

[mod] -- TR#246: lots and lots of assembly changes (game_hunter)

I'm guessing that change was it.
