Save file won't erase?

Can't remember which version was being play tested at the time, but this happened to me once. Think that I ended up deleting the save file, but don't remember for sure.

Spoiler: Update (click to show/hide)  I spent two hours slowly, painstakingly avoiding damage at Nightmare! only to lose the game to a power outage!  D:  I recorded it, but I don't suppose anyone cares to see me plodding around slowly for two hours.  :P
