Pushing my comfort zone with this one - a lot of special levels visited that I normally skip. Many not as bad as I feared! Would have finished Limbo, but ran out of ammo - there are a LOT of enemies there! First real go with Gunner Master trait too - its much better than it looks on paper, pulled off some awesome start of level runs with it.

Messed up YAAM in chained court when phase device took me to the exit room - blocked off from all enemies - was NOT expecting that. The speed of the lava in Halls of Carnage was a nasty surprise too, I would have been in big trouble if I didnt have an envirosuit.

Hey, pretty cool that you're checking out the extra levels!  All kinds of new challenges, but lots of nice rewards too!  :)  How did you find the Gunrunner build?  It doesn't seem to be very popular, but I know from experience that it can be pretty fun once it gets going.  :)

Oh, interesting!  I didn't know that was a thing that could happen!  :o  It makes me wonder about phase device usage in other levels, like Phobos Lab?  Also, I seem to remember there was an issue about that in Mount Erebus, that you could accidentally teleport yourself somewhere you can't get out and make the game unwinnable.  (I don't know if they ever fixed that bug)

Yup, the phase-to-exit was a big surprise.  I bet theres all kinds of interesting places you could accidentally phase to :-) I'm going to have to be much more careful in the future (although using a phase device is always a real last resort thing, so actually will probably not make much difference!)

GunRunner was meh at first, until I got ShottyMan -then it was amazing, running around with a double-shotty moving, firing and reloading all at once. At the start of a level in a big swarm of enemies it rapidly goes from 'use gunrunner to get me out of here' to 'hang on, I'm now actually winning this' - ending up with turning around and charging back in to finish them all off before the 'running' ends. Running *towards* groups of enemies with a shotty is fantastic!

Congrats on a solid win, and kudos for your courage with special levels, some of them can get really nasty on UV.

Regarding random phases, this is the only way to complete The Wall / Containment Area on AoMr or AoSh, outside of being even more lucky and finding a blaster, plasma shotgun or mods for corresponding assemblies. The same applies to Vaults without Arena Master's Staff. Clearing these levels in this way is required for certain badges (Brick Silver and Scavenger Platinum and Diamond).
