Also I was so excited about the prospect of having the DS/Vampyre combo and getting Gutt's Heart I forgot to check my killcount - only narrowly made it...

I did have the chance for a full win as there was an invuln on the last floor - would I still have got Gutt's Heart for nuking spidey?

My gut (heh) feeling says no.  Then again, the medal for killing Spidey with the GCB just requires the GCB to be the killing blow; despite that, I still got it by using only the GCB anyway just to be sure.

What BBHood217 said; nuking tends to invalidate badges and medals for clearing levels, so I expect it would invalidate this one too.

I must say I'm surprised that you skipped Unholy Cathedral in an AoB game!  :o  Had you really just pinned all your hopes on a lucky DS?  Or were you just planning to make do with the Chainsaw?

Skipping UC on a melee game is a bit weird, but I tended to play it by ear on these runs, because I didn't have access to HR (got to be Vampyre!) I couldn't do the running round the outside trick, and I couldn't be bothered with throwing knives every time. So some runs I went in, if I had some decent kit, others I skipped it if I was too weak. One run I had previously I cleared the 1st map 100% and got Azrael's Scythe in UC. Feeling pretty good about myself I died in horrific crossfire on the next level.
