I finally experimented with the Technician class! The laptop I'm playing on has a really dark screen, so it was hard to use the tracking data to full advantage in the early game. I ate way too many shotgun blasts to the face early game, and actually ran out of health packs twice! Working my way through this, I felt like I had to skip most of the special levels. I feel like those would have been more achievable with dualgunner to boost the damage output of a pistol build earlier, but Sharpshooter felt fairly limiting early game for pretty great late game.

But enough commentary. Here is what I learned on this run:

9 turns of Invulnerability means 9 turns of invulnerability. Make sure you don't waste those on fast actions and blow yourself up like a dumbass

I nearly closed out right then and there when my invulnerability ended with 4 seconds left on the countdown.

Fun facts about Sharpshooter: a standard storm bolter assembly does more damage than the artifact Anti-Freak Jackal. Which made getting that late in the run rather anti-climactic.

Congrats man, MSs is indeed a challenge to get going, but once she's rolling...

And yeah, that's one hell of a lesson to learn. Bet you won't be forgetting that one any time soon D:

As far as your terminology goes: this run isn't a full win, but a partial. It's not a YASD either, as you clearly landed a win. See Da Rulez! and/or the Wiki for further clarification. To answer the unasked question: people pay me to be annoying like this, and I like taking my work attitude home with me ;)

Thanks! Yeah, I won't be forgetting this one anytime soon. The full win is hidden in a spoiler! Its actually less interesting than this run was, but I wanted to brag about it, especially since I managed to get my first damage-less Arena clear on it. Stepped up my corner shooting game.

I will make sure to be better in my titles in the future.

A lesson we all have to learn at some point ;)

And maybe the gameplay of the posted run felt more interesting to you, but the spoilered mortem is actually more interesting to me - that's quite the haul of badges you have there. Nice work.
