Of all the Angelic's this is the one I always thought was within my grasp. I usually play a damage focused game (lots of SoB levels) but this time I went for a speed focused build. The initial idea was to get another Longinus Diamond (got it before in 0.9.9.6) but as I went through the levels everything clicked and I realised I was on track for another Angelic. I guess it's a little tacky using AoMC to get it but I think this is a good platform to aim for an Elite :-)

There was a plasma shotgun in Deimos Lab but I got a sniper/power mod combo and chose to make a plasmatic combat shotgun instead. I thought it would make more sense because shells are easier to manage as an ammo source. After that I just rolled along - with guaranteed corpse disposal nightmare isn't that bad :-)
My first Longinus Diamond used the knife throwing technique but this time I wanted to do it properly. Between HR3, Fin3 and the ripper the AoD went down hard (although it wasn't damageless - took me a moment to work out the right rhythm to avoid getting hit).
Limbo was alright, felt easier than the Mortuary (first time I've finished it!). Helped a lot that I had some seriously big guns and corpse disposal at the ready.
I periodically ran out of plasma but never shells which, I think, validates my decision with the combat shotgun. Having a massively damaging melee option didn't hurt either :-)
And now I'm finally a full General :-)
