Turns out DoomRL works on Android with Winlator

I'll spoiler the post I did on Bay12 (Dwarf Fortress).

So, yeah, works fine. And since Winlator is kinda open-source, all it would need is its RTS keyboard overlay to be changed to a DRL specific one. Essentially a touchscreen overlay at the sides, for the buttons you'll actually use in DRL. Not that hard, I'll make up a decent overlay in the next few days (I did it for the Dos version through Magic dosbox, and this one will probably be easier than that).

We could use it as a Wine-wrapper to deploy one of the best roguelikes ever on Android, in a way. There might be a bit of clicking before playing, but meh. Still worth it. DoomRL in your pocket can only be a good thing.

I actually discovered this on my own recently. unfortunately I only got console mode working but it does actually work, though winlator has a habit of crashing on me so until I can find anything better I would never consider doing a real run, I'm gonna get that 1 in 10 run that I actually get lucky enough to survive to phobos anomaly and I'll have it crash on me and I'll lose my entire run.

as for controls I did manage to get a good layout, winlator somehow just doesn't have the END key in its button dropdown so I just rebound walk sw to something else, but otherwise it's fully controllable :3 if anyone has any knowledge of getting other things (ie drl graphics mode) running in winlator and maybe any potential ways to reduce crashes I'd be very happy.
