It was on this new "Arena" level type, the one where you're been shot at from the other end of the map.
There are 4 wall tiles in the middle of the level, and in the very center of them i saw a } symbol, interestingly enough, when i pressed "x" it didnt say anything, so i decided to pick it up, but couldnt step on it. When i aimed at the symbol i learned that it is some THING bearing MY NAME. And when i wanted to step on it - i actually attacked it hth. I tried shooting at it with a chaingun - and nearly killed myself.

As I had said, I suspect this isn't a bug at all. It seems way too well organized.

... then I took out my BFG10K, overcharged it, took aim and. If you had said that it would be hilarious :)


Seriously I wonder if this is some bug, or just part of the mechanism used for making the enemies continually fire at you (or something that is put in thats just meant to freak you out and discourage you from firing random rockets in that direction).

Could it be that thing in the centre, is where you're meant to start (like Mortuary), and the bug is the fact you started in a random location?

Okay, found the bug and nailed it. The player was placed twice on this level.

No! Why? Put it back! It's Hell's Mirror! :)
I honestly think it fits in well ^^
