I dont think its possible at all to win AoM w/o damage mods for one reason only - you'll quite simply run out of ammo. Yeah, its possible to kill almost anything with speed mods and large magazine, but it takes alot of ammo, i had a whole inventory and it wasnt enough, only got to level 21.
