What about creating win32 style version(i mean to make window instead of console)?
It will certainly make DoomRL look better.

Seen this in A.D.O.M. ... and console/Dos version looked so much better than Win32 one...

And I think Windows version looks smarter. Besides, you can use variety of fonts and much more colors.

It's also possible to make options in Windows version. Besides, you are much more free to make different graphical and resolution modes.

True, but between increased graphical options and increased gaming options, and when working on one consumes time for the other, there's a chice to be made. I personally prefer increased gaming options.
