Bug Reports / [0.9.9.3 Win] Unidentified explosion, major slowdown, etc.

I was playing Angel of Shotgunnery, HNTR (meant to be HMP, but whatever.)
On floor 11, I opened a door, went around a corner, and got the following. Copied from mortem:
All I could see that happened was a massive explosion - maybe the size of a Hellwave Pack or a Cyberdemon death. The game slowed immensely when the ring had reached what I'm guessing was its largest point. Minutes later, it ran through the next several screens quite fast (as I had hit Enter a few times trying to continue the text display) and started a new game. I didn't get an error.
Here's my full log. It appears to start with the beginning of the oddly-behaving game, and it also probably has the beginning of the next game (as explained above).
I hope this has all the information you need, because I don't think I have anything past this.

Level: I'm Too Young To Die!
I got the Trigun. I used it to nuke several levels (think I was one short of Fallout Platinum Cross), including Phobos Arena and Hell Fortress. I was invincible for each nuke, including the final one, and had more than enough HP - my mortem lists me as 60HP max, so the Angel Arm wouldn't have come close to killing me through max HP loss, if such a thing is even possible.
However, the high score table lists this as "won by sacrifice." This seems wrong.

I'm seeing this in some mortems, but mine are always capped at 3 (or less in certain specific cases). Is this only available after a certain level or in Angel of 100?

Yeah, this old routine again. Stats first.
Spider Mastermind:
A (the "dark yellow" color used by Pain Elementals)
Health: 170+10*difficulty
Armor: 3
Speed: 110%
Melee Damage: Avoids melee, 1d3+13 if forced
Accuracy: +8
Ranged Damage: (1d8)x6/9-48, armor applied to each shot individually, armor effect halved
Description: A larger Arachnotron with a larger gun, you hope this is the worst Hell has to offer.
The idea is that it's a bit more fragile than the Cyberdemon (lower armor and health), but its attacks are far harder to avoid - particularly as Dodgemaster does not render you largely invincible like it would against Cybie.
Now, the obvious place for this would be after the first wave of Arachnotrons in the Spider's Lair. But I thought about the chain of events connecting a couple special levels... why not replace the Cyberdemon with the Spider Mastermind if you clear the Spider's Lair?

Oh, if I had more medpacks, I'd have been able to finish the Cathedral. But when I finished off the last Demon, I had 6% health and my only source of health refills was that Blood Skull. One, I was saving that for the Mortuary for obvious reasons, and two... there weren't any corpses, everything was instagibbed.Hellgate went really easily though. Phased away from the initial crowd when I realized my run-back-to-start plan was doomed to fail. Phased right to the wall before the Bruiser Brothers in fact. I killed them without any problems at all, then returned and used the door as a chokepoint for the caco/soul/demon mob. They did more damage to me than the Bruisers.
Hell's Armory is remarkably easy in AoB, and a good source of extra Blue Armors. The lack of any possible useful uniques sucks though; Cybernetic Armor strikes me as a Bad Idea in AoB, no other unique armor is available, and ranged weapons are obviously useless.

Weird way to start a melee game, I know. I went in going for some assemblies for badges, then I got the Cleaver on dlvl 2 and just ran with it. The Hyperblaster and Combat Shotgun were my main weapons until I got the Angelic Armor, at which point I slapped Longinus on there full-time. Got plenty of use out of melee leading up to that, though, using the Double Chainsaw whenever I got a berserk, and the Cleaver to effortlessly chop through mobs of Lost Souls - proved extremely useful in the Cathedral.
Edit: Something I thought of later: I used the Cleaver for almost the entirety of the Hellgate. It made things laughably easy. The Double Chainsaw finished off the Bruiser Brothers in two hits each, thanks to Berserk.

My first Angel of Marksmanship win was a gift. I'd have to take really stupid chances to screw this one up. Not being in the mood to screw this up, I played more carefully and did things like running up to the Cyberdemon and punching him in the face. Carefully.
I almost died in the City of Skulls - I thought my phase device would take me more than a knight's jump away. But careful maneuvering kept me from getting hit by more than three Souls at a time. Liberal use of medpacks covered the rest.
Had two exotics and a unique in the Armory, one exotic being a Plasma Shotgun. Not sure where I got the Blaster, but that came a bit later I think.

Hey, Sambojin? Mods aren't that rare. :) That's not even showing the coupel power mods I skipped and threw away after giving up on finding a Plasma Rifle. Hadn't completely given up, that's why the Agis are still there.
Incidentally, Triggerhappy 2 on an Assault Rifle is awesome.
Infinite ammo thanks to Ammochain, and indestructible armor. It all really came together nicely. That, and the invuln about ten steps from the stairs to Big C.
Also... yeah I don't know what happened to plasma rifles. Only one I got was the Nuclear variety, which is what fried the Cyberdemon. Bizarre. Vaults didn't have one either.
JC summoned so many Barons that I was about to give up. Then I phased into a bigass crowd of them, and figured I was boned.
Turns out, he's vulnerable to friendly fire. So yeah.

Magenta is used for Exotics. Power Mods aren't exotic.
Perhaps we could switch that to Red instead? It's not currently used by any mods, and it is a color associated with power usually.

I got four freaking Assault Shotguns, wtf! Also Onyx Armor, Minigun, Missile Launcher, and BFG, but the last two were guaranteed.
And a shitload of mods, they're a lot more common now. Which I appreciate, as I've been trying to figure out the Assemblies. No luck there though.

Lost Souls use the Demon "hurt" sound. I'm in the middle of a game right now, so I can't toy with the files to try to find the right one, but the sound.lua file is pointing to the Demon sound filename. Copy-paste error?

I had an Advanced Combat Shotgun and Onyx Armor spawn on the same floor. Then they got hit by Mancubus missiles. Dammit!
Not that I got enough mods to bother - the Technical and Power mods on my Double and Combat shotgun respectively? That's it. Oh, and one Agility mod, but what use is that in AoSh?
City of Skulls is my favorite side trip on a shotgun run - very easy exp. That's where I got Army of the Dead.
On another note... why the hell is my score so low? o_O

In celebration of the new version coming soon, I decided to do one last 0.9.8.10 Ao100 attempt before I'd have to actually earn my way to it. (looks a lot easier this time, though, thanks guys!)
It went pretty well for a pistol run without a single unique spawning. And no damage mods. Came close to death a few times, but I had a great supply of medpacks. That doesn't do much for you when you have three revenants and two archviles to deal with, I note.
That rocket launcher was surprisingly useful earlier, even without Eagle Eye. One level I entered started with me staring down about 8 Cacodemons... and an Arachnotron around the corner... fun times, fun times. Never used the combat shotgun, though.
Should've nuked it right at the end there. Ah well, you die, you learn.
