I've made firestorm modded hyperblasters before. And the first mod was before Whizkid 2 as well.

The wiki says that you've got a 1/3 chance of Unique mods from Unique weapons (else Exotic) and a 1/3 chance of Exotic mods from Exotic weapons (else Basic).

Probably demons locked away after a failed uprising.

I'd like to see special levels which changed slightly based on difficulty level. Where additional challenge nets more depth of narrative. Even just small bits. I feel like this already happens with the arena->chained court links. It's not difficulty so much as challenge level there but it would help nightmare be more alluring... what more might you learn in the depths of the nightmare?

Perhaps if you're playing on Nightmare there's already a path through the wall but the monsters don't appear until after you've passed through. Guess that demon army still has an ambush or two up it's sleeve?

If hits are calculated before damage (i.e. the game tracks which targets are nearer or at least records them in order of distance from the player...) then why not have a drop off of a single die per unit hit by the blast? So the first target takes full, the second takes 1d3 less and so on.

Maybe an alt fire for the single- and double-shotty for a slug which drops off at a rate of 1/2 of the dice instead of 1 die per target and does bullet (single) or piercing (double). So that only three targets in a row could be hit for full, 2/3, and then 1/3 damage max.

I do think shotguns are pretty perfect the way they are, but if they were to get a little modification I'd prefer something less drastic to more drastic. I think there should at least be an assembly that creates a "slug" firing weapon out of one of the shotguns.

[Can we get a new mod like Duct Tape pack? Quadruple shotgun anybody?]

Renaming of Lava Armor and added set bonus: Immunity to lava and no armor/boot speed penalties when standing on a lava tile.

Move Speed: -10%
Knockback: -30%
Resistances
-Fire: 50%
-Acid: 50%

Cannot repair normally. Whenever you step on a corpse a lava tile is spawned beneath your feet. Repairs 5% of durability when standing on lava. Set bonus: Immunity to lava and no armor/boot speed penalties when standing on a lava tile.

The best run I had before got a Lvl 1 Malek's. Just couldn't find healthpacks to save my life.

After some more reflection I would've Nano'd the plasma rifle and left it unmodded except for the Nano pack until I could disassemble it and then assemble a Nanomanufacture plasma. Since I had EE2 I wasn't sweating the sniper pack but probably would've gone firestorm for the two turn Vile kills.

I did get freakishly lucky, thank you RNG. I don't suppose you could have the Scavenge ability prioritize Unique>Exotic>Basic mods from weapons? I was praying that was the case but I'd understand if it was too much.

Nightmare! / [N!|Ao100|92%|YAVP] Centurial Diamond as Scavenger!

GH: I'm not sure why you used spoiler tags, given that this the one forum where posting mortems is a necessary part of any OP. I've removed them for now: if you wanted to keep your text spoiler'd, feel free to edit them back in, but please keep the mortem out of the tags.

Alright, this one could of been a lot smoother had I known a few things but I learned a lot. Obviously we all dream of the sick armor and weapons we can create on Ao100 with the Scavenger trait and I got extremely lucky while making some mediocre decisions that cost me the perfect run.

Some highlights:
- Nano pack on level 1 (Caco Vault bleh...). This happened on my eighth try. Wow. Plasma rifle FTW!
- Trigun->Scavenge->Nano pack. 15 levels later->nanoskin gothic armor.
- Cereberus armor + berserk = invincible, next run will take advantage of this.
- Cereberus Gothic Armor is probably the best.
- Three sets of Gothic, of which I grabbed 2.
- Scavenging my original plasma rifle with A1T1N1B2 gave me a technical mod :'(
- Nanoskin Gothic (P) [12/12] + Gothic Set Bonus [+4] + TaN 3 = 19 Armor };)
- Lack of Berserk! trait made this much, much longer than normal.

What I would've done different?
- More careful modding of that Nano plasma rifle. You're guaranteed all the basic and exotic mods you'll ever need in Ao100, just not when you need them when you're a MSc. Personally I'd have gone N1S1B3 on that baby if I'd thought about it before hand. Nanomanufacture optional, not worth waiting for...
- I would not have killed my Nano plasma rifle by Scavenging it. Damn.
- SoB sooner. Especially with regenerating plasma ammo, that stuff goes pretty quick so make it count.
- I found that Cerberus armor to be better than my nanoskin gothic until I found my next power mod. I should've taken better care of it and used it until then.
- Cerberus boots didn't occur to me until way late in the game, never found enough power mods. Definitely worth it.
- high power Railgun (P) instead of (T) I think. I almost disassembled it in hopes of gravity boots but since I was relying on my nuclear plasma rifle after disassembling my Nano rifle it seemed far too risky. And it was really, really useful later.

That's it! Been waiting for Centurial Diamond for a long time now. . . Thank you Classes!

Bug Reports / [0.9.9.4] Too many gibbing bodies?

Hard to remember exactly where this happened but I believe a rocket was gibbing a large patch of formers on top of more former corpses. Sorry, it was like level 24 of N! A100 and it took seven days to finish...

Very disappointed that scavenger doesn't prioritize the disassembling of higher quality mods over lessers. I.e. A basic mod is just as likely to be returned from a dissassmbled weapon as a unique mod if it has one of each.
