Quill did her best not to think about all the perfectly good food they were stepping over and scattering around. She simply hoped there would be some left afterwards.

"No, bad dog! Down! Play dead!" she yelled, swinging her flail down at the wolf again.

Crushing Surge on F8
F8 continues to be marked until the end of my next turn.
THP don't stack, to the best of my knowledge, so...

"You made Quill hungry. You will not like Quill when she is hungry."

Move: E7
Standard: Crushing Surge on F8 + critical damage
Bonus: Takedown Strike on F8, it takes 4 extra damage and is knocked prone.
F8 is marked, and Quill receives 3 temporary hit points.

Quill didn't say anything as she stepped into the chamber, eyeing the place warily, but you could clearly hear her stomach growl at the feast laid out. She was a bit busy fighting the urge to just pounce up onto the table and dig in.

"Quill trusts Bahamut more for protection. And Quill wants to know how we are going to get back. We should find the king and make sure he makes the horrible cold stuff go away. THEN he can have his ice stick back," she said, tucking the sceptre under her cloak for the time being, then heads over to open the door.

Quill, meanwhile, retrieved the sceptre from her belt and was eyeing the thing suspiciously.

"Quill has doubts about this..."

Quill hurried to the front of the group - since there was less actual snow here, she didn't need anyone clearing her a path. And besides, she was the one carrying the sceptre.

As a precaution, though, she kept her weapon ready and the fire enchantments on it active. Anything that liked the cold this much could not be trusted.

Because right now Quill is a bit miffed at the powers controlling the universe and their affinity for tossing kobolds into deep snow, that's why.

Quill, meanwhile, takes the precaution of bashing in any skulls they find, in case they might be attached to skeletons that felt they needed to rise up and start being a nuisance.

Quill simply glared off into the distance for some time before crawling out of the snow drift.

"If king does not make horrid cold stuff go away in short order, Quill is going to ensure he spends the rest of time sitting on his stupid ice stick," she growled quietly, starting to dig her way through the drifts towards the cairn. She certainly looked ready to make good on that threat right now, too.

The kobold didn't need to be asked twice - she grabbed the sceptre and tucked it behind her belt.

"Quill is grateful, but Quill thinks you should get to rowing before talking boat gets impatient. Quill would help, but Quill's arms are too short for the rowing. Not to worry, though - Quill will help you keep good pace."

"No time for drinking, no time," Quill interrupted, shaking her head. "We take ice stick to boat, we take boat to king, we give king ice stick back. Quill thinks if he wants it so badly, he should welcome us in."

The kobold, for her part, was weighing the options of just getting away from the cold, and putting an end to whatever is causing the cold.

"Quill's tribe will help. But you had better reward Quill's tribe well for this. Quill does not like going into cold places, not in the slightest," she said eventually.

"So we just give the ice stick to this king, and all this horrid white stuff goes away?" Quill asked, having kept rather quiet up at this point. The cold made the kobold feel a bit sluggish.

Quill leaned on her flail like it was a staff, looking up at the vocal merchant with a cold, toothy grin.

"Quill thinks shouty man made Quill's friend angry. Quill thinks shouty man should apologize. Quickly."

We can't go using up all our luck on non-life-threatening situation rolls, you know.
