Um... I'm not sure if this is a further bug in this vein, but anyway I made it to Cyberdemon, used a homing phase device, and it just moved me to empty floor next to a wall...? Does this mean we need to get the Cyberdemon to blow a hole in the wall to expose the exit, or is this a bug?

Anyway, trusting the description text, I nuked myself and then discovered to my dismay that it didn't count as a win :(

hey,
Yesterday I tried running the new version a couple times, not playing it (didn't have time) but just to check if it would work with my new PC/Windows 7. It loaded to the mainmenu fine.

Today, when I start doomrl.exe it immediately crashes with this error:

@Kornel Kisielewicz: everyone wants that :D

@UnderAPaleGreySky: I only had the one pair; in my inventory I also had a Malek's armour, but that was the only other unique. Previously I was wearing plasteel boots, but I dropped them when I found the phaseshift boots (which are now 4 protection, hooray!).

When I took off the phaseshift boots I was wearing no boots, and I could still walk across lava with no damage. I assumed that walking on air was a new effect of the boots and that the bug was that it persisted when the boots were removed.

I only walked without boots for a bit though, just to test it; I put them back on to tackle the Lava Pits, just in case.

Sorry about that: I was wearing red armor, modded but I don't remember if it was A, T, or B (I had three different sets.. the RNG liked me :) ).

I only noticed it when I was knocked into lava, I forget by what. Taking the boots off and still walking over lava was really weird!

p.s - I'm _a_ raigan, I don't know about "the" raigan :p

I don't know when this started, but at some point during my AoSg game I stopped taking damage from lava -- it just acted like regular ground when I walked on it, with no "argh, lava!" message.

I was wearing the phaseshift boots, so I thought that perhaps this was a new effect/behaviour added, but even when I took them off I continued to walk normally over lava.

It made The Lava Pits a lot easier :)

I'll attach my mortem just in case it helps track down this bug; stupid Cyberdemon killed me :(

One thing is that it seems kind of stupid to have tab toggle through tactics -- when would you ever WANT to switch from running to tired?! Why not just have tab be the "run" button?

Bug Reports / Nuke Blocks Stairs

dropping a nuke on top of stairs "erases" the stairs.. with the unfortunate result that you become stuck on the level until everything blows up.

i'm not sure if this is an intended behaviour or not, but it's _VERY_ annoying!!
