Thanks to ToME (which referenced the rougelike of the year voting) I found out about this game. Totally love it! You guys did a great job making this and I just wanted to say thank you!

For sure, been playing the ascii version for a while, donated as soon as i saw there was a graphical version. Thanks

Ha! ToME4 has more connections to this game than you think - their new redo of the sound system (think it started with b36) was inspired by DoomRL (or at least DRL was brought in the topic discussing the subject, and shown as a prime example of how things should be done sound-effect-wise).
