This is starting to get old...
I'm already level 25 with no brute or TaN, sadly. Regardless, my current build one shots barons and two shots almost everything bigger. Literally the only thing that takes more then a couple of bursts is a Cyberdemon, and those have been pretty rare.
I almost want to try it, but with nearly 500 levels to go, and no way to adjust my build to it, I don't think it's gonna be worth it.
Edit: Dammit, I've just discovered that I apparently missed a kill somewhere, somehow. Here's hoping it's a bug and when I finish it'll display correctly - I've only left levels once they turn blue =X

First on 107, now on 119... how many times is this going to show up? If I was actually willing to pick it up, I might even be able to figure out how, given that it's throwing itself at me...

Not a bad run - I'm a fan of Ammochain myself, using it right now for an AAo666 run to excellent effect.
I haven't really tried it in a normal game, given how long it takes to set up at the expense of other traits, but apparently it works nicely there, too. Better luck with the modkits next time.
Edit: Huh... I just got a BFG 10k and... it doesn't work with ammochain. How come yours did?

Just found my first, as well... not sure if I even want to try picking it up, though. I don't think I'll be able to finish this Ao666 run with a melee weapon, even one that powerful.
Edit: I left it without trying to pick it up. Not really sure how to go about that, and can't risk succeeding and losing my run. Hopefully it'll spawn another time when I'm not 107 floors deep into an AAo666 game with awesome gear that I'll play hundreds of games before finding again. Right now it feels like a cakewalk, and I'd like to preserve that.

When do they show up? I don't even see them in my player profile - are they unlocked at some point, or are they not part of this release?
I ask because, while I'm otherwise not in a position to be attempting platinum badges, much less angelic, I've been having reasonable luck with AoOC runs lately, and wanted to try Shotgun Angelic - however, I would hate to complete it and not receive the badge because they don't actually exist, or haven't been unlocked yet.
What gives?

Yep, seems like some Dual-Angel challenges actually make one of them easier. I like your AoI+AoLT mortem - not quite the same, but good synergy between the two challenges. Not sure if I'm quite talented enough to make it work, though - I have enough difficulty with standard AoI, and I've yet to complete an AoLT.

Saw a post on another thread which suggested using Dual AoB+AoOC to meet the Azrael's Scythe reqs three times for Armorer Diamond, and decided to test it out to see if I could manage to survive starting in Hell on AoB. I could - every 5-10 games - and decided to use the AoOC dual shortcut to pick up Berserker Gold:

Huh... her damage is just that low then? That's not so bad... Might even give it a try on HMP, assuming I can ever get down there...
New MM also does plasma ? Can't know it, she always got nuked xD
Anyway, she doesn't shoot in melee range ? 90% melee resistance looks nice.
About your build, I'd really advise you to try a build with 3 levels of SoB on your first levels, just to see the difference.
Even a chaingun becomes a terrible weapon with this kind of builds, and shotgun's knockback is seriously improved too.
btw, avoid double shotgun, the damage dropoff is horrible and the second shell is shot after the 1st knocks your enemy, which lower its damages. I never use one, except maybe with shottyman, but even in that case, it sucks too much for me.
Well, it's not THAT useless, it has a nice wide area against lost souls and does good damages if you melee your opponent against a wall to prevent knockback.. but knockback is what makes shotguns useful :|
I'd really advise basic/combat/tactical much more than double shotty.
Also, note that the assault you start with in AoOc is not bad, and has a focused shotgun blast.
Never really tried SoB - is it really strong enough to compete with Intuition or Hell Runner early? Maybe I just rely too heavily on those traits. As far as the double shotgun, I love the close range damage, and it feels like I kill things around corners a lot faster then with a tactical/assault shotgun. I also do tend to mod double with PAT for the focused assembly, although I'm not entirely clear on whether that solves the problem you were describing.

Another gold badge, which is an accomplishment for a player of my (lack of) skill. Still using the same build as my last post, for the monster vision and move speed - I'm sure there are better ways to go, but this is the one I've been having the most success with lately. Found a Shielded Armor just before Dis, and it felt like the +90 Bullet Resistance was pretty effective against her. She also turned out to be more kiteable then I'd expected. Still, advice on how to improve my game is welcome - I feel like I'm playing well below the skill level of most posters here.

Thanks for all the feedback. I really don't know very much about building - until recently I've just been going for Ammochain in every game(mostly Ao100 attempts, since I figured ammo would be a problem). For this one I went for the intuition and movespeed first, and the higher tier modding after, but I don't really know how efficient either of those is.
I wasn't actually planning on a Full Win, but with an invulnerability orb on the last level of hell and a nuke in my inventory... well, why not try?
I was low on phase ammo and large medkits for that entire run - usually I try to keep at least four or five slots of energy ammo on me(but I burnt most of what I did find, including a battery, on the Cyberdemon), and quite a few medkits, but it was not to be this game.
I wasn't actually planning on a Full Win, but with an invulnerability orb on the last level of hell and a nuke in my inventory... well, why not try?

Nothing spectacular, obviously - just a basic HNTR AoCn. My question is, could I have pulled off a full win with what I had? If so, how? I'm quite inexperienced dealing with JC(or whatever it is now, I've only very recently picked up the latest version after a long absence), and I have no idea how to deal with... just... so many Barons. To be perfectly honest, I've never even fought the mastermind - both of my wins since I picked DoomRL back up have been nukes in Dis, and I had quite a time with just the Cyberdemon - I was Berserk from the previous level, or I probably wouldn't have survived.
I'm starting to get better at dealing with regular enemies by using walls and positioning, but I'm clueless about how to fight in the open.
