Title: Harder Angel of 100

  Harder Angel of 100 would be a nice addittion to a new version. It is currently ranked as a Blade challange, but in reality it's quite easy. Once you are past level 35 or so, you are an unstopabble death incarnate: a level 10+ char with modded advanced weaponry, tons of armor, a stack of large meds and homing phase devices and some uniques to boot. And it gets easier as it goes deeper.

 So, my idea is to spawn uniques on deeper levels. For example:

Cyberdemons: yeah, instead of simple knights and barons you'll have to face Cybies. Maybe on harder difficulties, multiple Cyberdemons may spawn. Player should be warned of their arrival, though.

Angels of Death: a powered up version of demons. Since you will be able to use ranged weapons on them, they won't upset the balance. I think.

JC: well, maybe it's too much. But levels 90+ on Nightmare...

Making Ao100 harder sounds reasonable but not by making AoD/Cybie/JC spawn.

How about a special kind of boss monster for Ao100 that guards the down stairs on certain levels (e.g. 'Keeper of XX' where XX is the level) and that scales with depth and/or player level.

No I haven't, mainly because I won it on Hurt me Plenty and haven't got the inspiration to play it again.

About Keepers of XX: Ok, maybe AoD or JC spawn is not a very good idea, but spawning Cybies would be cool. So we can make Cybie a Keeper of the 25 level, than add some new monsters for other levels ( Spider Mastermind, for example).

Until you try it on UV...don't suggest its to easy.  You'll find its a much, much larger leap in difficulty then HMP.

Does UV follow the same pattern of "After level XX, the game becomes easier"?

If so, I would say his idea should be implemented regardless of how difficult the challange is on UV as a whole.

Somewhat, but even a fully leveled up/superiorly equipped marine still can die regardless.  Though to admit, I do like the boss monster that scales with level idea.
