Title: Clear Vaults by luck--?

Im just trying to figure how how to "clear the Vaults by luck"

Does this mean like nuke the level and then teleport inside the main vault and then leave (because I have noticed that the Vaults are not bound by the Arena Master's Staff anymore)? Does it mean to dodge attacks so that the enemies miraculously kill eachother?

Im trying to get the Scavenger Silver

I suspect it means clear them without opening them.

I'd be a little more specific than that, and if I'm wrong I apologise.

Complete the Vaults without using the Arena's Staff to open them.

You can always reliably break into two of the three vaults.  The luck bit comes from trying to break into and escape the final vault.

First, nuking won't do any good - nuking any level never counts as completing it for badges/medals purposes.
So then, there are two ways:
The first:

The outer vaults have certain wall tiles which can be destroyed - check the map on the wiki to see which those are. The center vault then has to be entered via a lucky phase - thus the "by luck" part in the description. Of course, to _clear_ the Vaults means to kill everything on the level.

The second:

The alt-attack of the Azrael's Scythe deals 20 fire damage to every monster on the level, drains 5 maxHP from you permanently and makes you tired. So with 3 medpacks to reset tactics you can use the Scythe four times, safely killing everything (not counting the unlucky chance when the Viles resurrect some of the corpses before they die). This counts as clearing the level.
You get the Scythe instead of Longinus Spear if you play on HMP+ and have a 100% kill rate before entering UC. Not that easy.
