I'd gladly do some testing.  Assuming play time is similar to DoomRL per game, and not comparable to Crawl, I should have no problem playing a game daily, as I already devote a few hours to roguelikes each day. Not familiar with previous versions, myself, but I imagine that doesn't matter in this case. Regardless, I hope to have a chance to help out here.
