* haven't seen this medal on the forum yet, but google (http://www.absoluteanime.com/berserk/guts.htm) suggests this might have something to do with picking up dragonslayer.
So I just wanted to get a feel for the lots of changes made since I last played DommRL (probably a year ago or longer) ... and with all that beginner's luck stumbled over Dragonslayer and, after some trying, managed to pick it up, not knowing that I thereby entered the Secret Society of the Illuminated Few ;)
After that the game turned out to become a kind of AoB on ITYTD, and the "easy" game became even easier, especially since the rain of uniques didn't stop at the dragonslayer.

Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
Is he immortal? 6 souls claim to have killed him...

so I finally managed to get that AoB win, and thanks to a nicely placed Inv-globe my first full win. I actually found a *lot* of invulnerabiltiy globes in this game, so I nuked (thanks to the Trigun) not only Cybie but the Wall and the Vaults, too, resulting in two more silver badges ... that's right, nuking the vaults apparently gives you the silver badge only.
The Mortuary is really great fun with a post-UC AoB, berserking your way towards the "V"s and healing all the time due to MVm. Sadly the City of Skulls didn't appear, bur I can believe all the stories how nice a walk through that city with such a build would be.

I did run a few AoMr chars with dualgunner, but I'm not sure if the somewhat higher damage output is worth the cost of a far longer reload time + the traits you cannot take due to your levels in DG. I really didn't miss the second gun at all during this game.

Well, my first victory over the Cyberdemon seemed a good occasion to register to this forum.
Funny enough, I started that AoMr game to take a break from a series of ITYTD stupid deaths, trying very hard to finally get that elusive first win under my belly. Those pimped up pistols simply rock!
As you can see, a rather close call. One more hit from the CD and I woud have been gone. But a win is a win :)
