"Well now. That was an interesting experience. So, what's next? Search for a forgotten way in? try the subtlety route? I would have some sort of idea, but I'm not sure, and want everyone's opinion on the this."

This what Aden said, what he was thinking was a little different. Great...Undead. I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE undead...*Sigh* I'm not sure what to do, but...Yes. We should scout the area a bit first. That's right.

"Wait. I have an idea. We need to scout this place out a bit. That's the correct thing to do."

Phew...Listen to yourself. Your nerves are shot. Ahh...I need to ask Ma'kirr if she'd be willing to spare some booze after this. Help me take the edge off...

"Oh no you don't!" Norian cried out, and ran forward until he was in range, and quickly tossed two Lances of Faith in quick succession. Both are poised to hit, possibly keeping the guiding light alive long enough for two people to receive guidance in hitting the fleeing foe.

"Not from me. Everything seems clear." Aden said, looking somewhat nervously at "Tristan"

"Wha-Where...but...He...Rah...Oh forget it. To be honest, I was expecting SOMETHING to happen...but I thought it would be a while longer, and wouldn't involve someone disappearing. No time for any mourning though, I need to help Adis out, and fast!"

Norian fires off a Lance of Faith at the Gnome Skulk. It goes wide and bounces off a wall and then disappears.

"Pelor has decided to punish me...Oh, and, Hail and well met Mysterious person! I am Norian Uthadar, Cleric of Pelor. What, pray tell, is your name?"

Norian looks almost incredulous. "Gnomes...it just never stops, does it?" Norian sees the Injured Graven, and casts his Healing Word. It seems to be particularly effective. Emboldened, he decides to start working on the Gnome near Aden. Sadly, his throw is a bit off.

"Sounds like a good idea. I wish you luck." Aden called out after the dragonborn. Looking at the coin, he wasn't entirely sure to what the dragon was referring to, but he guessed it was his tasteless effort to kiss up at the expense of the paladin. He felt bad about it, but to be perfectly honest, he actually wasn't exactly a big fan of Tristan's manner during the mission. That part was true. He WAS going to look past it and try to get along with the paladin, tell him to lighten up, and somehow do what needed to be done, even if it was unsavory.

But, that was sort of a moot point now. Despite that, Aden resolved to no longer make jokes or "gain favor" with the Overlord with a comrades death...except Ryaltar, but only if he thought of a good one. He figured the Drow might like that, but he wasn't entirely sure just yet. He wonders how Tristan will act when he "comes back." He also resolves to talk to Saliak and apologize for his behavior.

Tristan might've been annoying, but no-one deserved the fate that would befall him...
Maybe he should go help with something. Or maybe he should take a rest.

Aden unloaded his loot, decided on the latter, and hit the sack for a rest.

"Yes Sir! Right away sir!" Aden bowed a couple times. "Actually, sir...I want to thank you. To tell the truth, his overbearing piety was starting to get on my nerves. That is all." Aden bowed once more, and was the first to leave.

That was...That was terrifying. Aden thought to himself after he left. What was he thinking? We are nowhere NEAR powerful enough...Although he did say he would no longer do it willingly, so I guess it's better to die a painful death, and do bad stuff anyways against your will, than suck it up and keep your life? Oh well...that's one less ally we can count on, if we even do ever attempt it. I have no plans to do so. I have a family to keep alive... Aden kept walking along.

"Alright, I'm done!" Aden comes out of the house with more loot and books it as far back as he can go. He looks for a giant rock to get behind, finds one, and dives for it. "Safe!"

" I got everything I could find in the house. I wonder if there's any more valuables. I'm going to check another house, search for about...2-3 minutes, grab what I can, and run out before it burns to the ground."

Play other games and try to tell kornel to hurry up.

Well done sir.

Well done.

Aden looks out as the man runs. He shouts out behind him: "YOU CHOSE WISELY! FAREWELL GOOD SIR!"

Aden looks back in. "Well, time to pillage. There probably isn't much here, but let's take a look."

Aden starts thoroughly searching all over the house, looking wherever he could.'

"Hmm. Not bad. If I hadn't been wearing my helmet, I may have actually gotten knocked out." Aden continues in and looks around. "Nice place. Looks like you work hard. Shame I have to burn it down, but listen to me first, good sir." Aden turns toward the man and puts on a convincing voice. "I don't want to kill you, and we need people to survive to spread the tale of the destruction anyways, So, what I am offering to you is the chance to leave quietly, and find a new town to try and settle down in. Sadly, this place shall be pillaged and burnt to the ground, but you don't have to be. If you do not accept my offer..."Aden suddenly takes a menacing tone of voice "I shall gut you, but keep you alive just long enough so you burn alive along with your house." He then goes back to the convincing tone "What is your response?"
