AoD and acid levels! Great idea!
Cave-ins I was equating to the acid/lava flood. The difference is that it would add new walls and it pushes and damages(melee type) the player if he gets hit. This means that a 100% acid/lava immune player can't wait out the level and get a easy 100%.
A different mortar type (huge rocks) which explode, causing knockback then add walls is another idea. Creating unexpected cover is almost as bad as removing cover.
Also we should have a rare regular water flood at early levels just to get the player used to the idea.
As for borrowing from other settings, we already have Mjollinyr, Dragonslayer, Megabuster. A bit of borrowing from other systems is almost expected, so long as we don't make it obvious.

Everyone complains about how boring Ao666 is, why not brainstorm on how to improve it?
New enemies, level designs, effects. New items would break things.
Enemies:

Post Mortem / [U|AoMC|YASD|91%|CityOfSkulls] Arena master staff does not 1 or 2 shot skulls

Doing pretty well in AoMC at UV. Next time I'll replace HR with Rel, so I can have shottyman by City of Skulls.
Death was because I looked on the wiki, saw skulls had 10HP, arena master staff did 10d1, so I figured it was a easy kill. Oops. So I took a medkit and tried again (basically my only option at that point.) Nope.
Need a better strategy against shambler, took a LOT of hits there.
Had fun blasting apart the wall with a napalm launcher. Archviles lost corpses to respawn and Hell knights died from lava. Envirosuit to escape. Unfortunately the backpack was destroyed.
I was planning on practicing that kite strategy with the Angel of death. Ripper's 0.5s attack would make that quite possible. That was the idea behind taking the HR trait. However if I found agility modpacks it wouldve been unneccessary and I wouldve thrown the combat knife a jillion times.

First platinum since resetting!
Took out angel of death with a Ballistic Green armor+Piercing chainsaw while berzerking from a hatred skull dropped from Agony Elemental.
Used Azrael's Scythe to clear vaults (EZ platinum). Took a level in ironman to make up for some of the lost HP.
Messed up YAAM from Mortuary. Messed up Explorer from skipping lava pits. 3 invuln spheres so I just ran to the end and offed the spider mastermind with a gunrunning Missile Launcher (P). Satisfying.

I havent played in a while, this is off of a new save. First angel win. I like AoLT because it prevents me from fussing over inventory as much.
Weapons mainly used: Shotgun->Sh+Chainsaw->Longinus->Long+NuclearBFG
A Conqueror AoLT would be tricky, but possible. Important things to get would be 1. Lava/Cerberus boots, 2. Rocket for the wall, 3. Arena masters staff

I've never found the dragonslayer, but I *hate* that I can't find how to wield it if I even found it. Its straight up not on the internet, and I think that's absurd. Its actually made me not play DoomRL.
I always like playing games optimally, and if I found it I know that not being able to wield it is extremely suboptimal. Its almost as bad as a "pay to win" thing because there aren't even any clues. Im not about to go watch a anime for a clue either.

Am I the only person who is really annoyed about Jupiter Hell? It doesnt appeal to me, and removing resources from polishing DoomRL and developing DiabloRL/AlienRL/etc is a shame.
Heres some ideas:
Since tactical is 'easy', having boots+armor+(Tac.Shotgun or rocketlauncher) for +10% speed,-1protection is good.
Fireproof set? boots+armor = +30% additional fire, -30% shrapnel?
Cerberus set? boots+armor = something exotic, like fire any rocket launcher like a mancubus.
Reaper set? Necroarmor + Azrael's Scythe = immune to health drain from alternate fire of Scythe.
Medic set? Medic powerarmor + Combat translocater = special healing abilities.
Acid-walker: While wearing acid spitter and acidproof boots, leave trails of acid.
Lava-walker: While wearing napalm launcher, Lava armor, and lava boots, leave trails of lava.
Cyberpunk: Cybernetic armor + lazer rifle. = grants effects of badass 1.

I would love for juggler to have 0.1 sec switching time, but affect any weapon whatsoever. That sounds more fair and less meta.
The only problem is that people would use it for microwaits and always get the first hit. 1sec period(.) resting exists for that reason.

My thoughts on this:
This style of inventory sucks. I love a plain simple list. Playing tetris slows down the game in a way that breaks your "gunning" mindset.
Dropping destroying things sucks.
Having (equipped) at the end of a list is fine. Reworking ammo boxes, modpacks is fine. Having items take up multiple slots (large weapons + armors) is fine.

Oh I get it!
You equip a stack of ammo in the prepared slot. It gets used like the current ammo boxes get used now for faster reloading.
Ammo boxes have a capacity that can be unloaded/reloaded.
You need a way to reload objects in inventory/prepared for this tho. (F)ill?
If the ability to speed up ANY reloading is too powerful (probably is), then make a quick reloading "ammo belt/magazine" item instead.

I think it should have players with mortems and badges. That way we can see who gets the highest score games and people can track their own plays compared to others.

No A or P mods really hurt my modding capabilities tho. I used the one P I got on enviro boots in case I need to run through some lava/acid.
But thanks! I didnt even think about Brute/Berzerker. That would certainly help against arachnotron beatdowns. I havent found a Chainsaw and I've ditched my combat knife ages ago.
I'm using boots with like +30% movespeed or something already, so I dont want to make gravity boots.
Looks like I'll be saving it until I find a good pistol. Using Nanomach on a standard pistol seems like a waste.

Playing Ao100 on M (HNTR). At level 22 or so. I got too stressed and had to take a break.
So I took a few levels of SoaG, then the game decided to give me a bunch of shotguns and T/B modpacks.
I have EE1, Reloader2 now too. I forget everything I had since im not at home.
I have a Nano pack, Wizkid 2, no Power or Agility.
Wearing Maleck's armor [3] and some fast boots as well as Environmental plasteel.
is Nanosharpnel Double shotgun really good?
My original goal was for sharpshooter, but that seems silly now. I can still qualify for the technician shotgun special, sharpshooter, OR scavenger.
