Mjollnir is quite a bit of an oddball with its damage.  It does boomerang, though.  Can't say I'd choose it over any other melee weapon except maybe a combat knife though.  It might have some utility as a secondary weapon in AoB for corner-throwing fun or something.

Does the Subtle Knife's BFG Plasma damage mean it gibs things that you kill with it?

New idea for AAoPc AI: they try to kill each other or walk onto acid/lava.  Or stand on the stairs out and never move.

What exactly is the difference between AoPC and AAoPC? I have a feeling I'm looking right at it on the Wiki, but still refuse to see it...
You don't automatically level up every few floors.  I think that's it.

There was a beta version in 0.9.9.5 (and from what I heard, back in 0.9.9.4 as well) that had symmetric line of sight.  I think the general consensus was that it was a pretty large difficulty increase.

Nothing much to this run.  The only interesting part was when an archvile blew me onto a lava pool and into the vision range of a mancubus, with something like 4% health left.  So I used my Hell Staff, the Random Number God smiled upon me, and I ended up adjacent to the stairs.

I did a whole bunch of attempts at this on Friday, but on Nightmare!  The first one got to Deimos 5, where I died adjacent to the exit stairs, with four large med-packs and a homing phase in my inventory.  The others were substantially more embarrassing.

The resistance does decrease with durability.

Except that like everyone else who knows anything about the subject, you're plenty of the former and none of the latter.
When the time comes, you will know what to do.  Maybe.

Lots of people say that it turns out to be so obvious once you figure it out.  I think they're wrong.

I imagine grinning chaotically would mean your face ends up contorted in a way that resembles a grin, but where the final facial expression has a high sensitivity to your initial facial expression.  It makes perfect linguistic sense :)
