Requests For Features / Enemies fight with each other

Like in the original DooM,if an enemy accidently bites/shoots/claws another enemy,they will start fighting with each other!Could be an interesting feature for DoomRL too.

I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in working on a gui addon for this that adds icons in for the equipemen and stuff and add a more detailed view for top down more of blue topdown view like they had in the APC in the movie where they are watching the marins on the map enter the hive..


These are some icons I have done and would be willing to donate if anyone would like to implement them into the project to give a little grafic look :)

version.txt says that in 0.9.8.5 "you can no longer close a door on youself". I don't have 0.9.8.5, but in 0.9.8.7 you can do it. And it makes AoD very easy - only close the door and   kill him.

Hmm...it doesn't seem to work.If I close a door on an enemy he just gets stuck,but he doesn't die.

Guys I just figured out the greatest challenge ever!

Angel of God: All challenges put together.
- Only melee attacks are allowed, but large med-packs and large health globes do berserk.
- You start with an Advanced pistol. Too bad you can neither shoot with it nor switch it to anything close combat usable.
- No map. Everything not in your immediate vicinity is dark.
- All med packs are used immediately.
- You're only allowed to carry half of the stuff you could normally.
- All staircases take 2 floors down.
- Powerups don't work.
- To make it a bit more fair, you can actually be healed with stuff, even though AoMa forbids it. You also get a Supercharge each time you level up.

Huh?

Hell yeah :p.But I would've called it "The Ultimate Angel" or so.

Discussion / An effective hint for defeating the Cyberdemon.

This hint is very useful if you got to level 25 without a BFG9k.

OK,the only thing you need to do,is getting cybie exactly at the right side of your LOS.Then,blast him out of your LOS.Now you can't see him anymore,but keep shooting to the right as the missiles will hit cybie.Why do this?Simply because cyberdemon doesn't attack that much if you don't see him.And if he DOES attack,the chance is bigger that he misses you.

I guess most of the experienced players already know this,but it could be very useful to newbies.

My player.dat got corrupted again.

No way in hell I'm gonna start everything over for the third time. If anyone has a nice good player file with at least Angels of Haste and Purity unlocked, could you please upload it for me?

From now on,you should make backups of the file more often.
